Thrift Store Finds and A New Father/Daughter Project --- 9/22/12 My daughter was looking for a new dresser for her room. Her old one was about to fall apart. It was made from old pressboard and she has had it for about 9 years. So, I went to my favorite thrift store and found an old solid wood (yea...no pressboard) dresser. But it looked like crap. I got the dresser for .00. Took I home...cleaned it up, painted it glossy white, and put flowers all over it. Picked up some porcelain drawer pulls and MAGIC...A New Dresser for under .00!!! I already had the paint. The pulls cost .00 and the flowers ran about .00. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy. (My daughter HATED it when she first saw it....I don't blame her....It was NASTY!!! But she fell in love with it after she saw it all dolled up. Her and her mother put a lot of hard work in cleaning it up.)

SPOILER WARNING!!! If you haven't seen Boiling Rock you might not want to watch this. I love this song, it's really sad and inspirational. This video mostly focuses on Zuko, Mai, Jet, and Sokka, but it's also a general tribute to the heroes of the Avatar universe. Oh, and I guess Toph is sort of supposed to be singing the verses, which is why her picture's at the beginning. The chorus is being said by various people. Song: Hero by Superchick/ Superchic[k] (Red Pill Remix) Show: Avatar: The Last Airbender Fanart from devaintart. Explanations: Verse 1: Zuko. I think this is my favorite part. The chorus refers to his choice to change sides and the people who have tried to help him. You can choose to see the part of him and Katara from CoD as Zutara or not, whichever you want. Also, sorry for the background clutter, we just moved into our new place and the dresser drawers are currently being used as a carrying case for games :P Also, I apologize for looking tired, high, and dead. Turns out being stressed about blood being drawn the night before makes it hard to fall asleep, and then having your blood drawn takes your pigment away...who knew right? haha. Enjoy!
